BETTING GUIDE: Who are the favourites as F1 moves on to Canada?

Date:

Formula 1 moves from Europe to North America this weekend for the Canadian Grand Prix, with McLaren arriving into the event off the back of a 1-2 result last time out in Spain. Can the papaya squad continue their momentum in Montreal, or will one of their rivals beat them to the top step? Here are what the odds tell us…

Odds are provided by F1’s Official Betting Data Supplier ALT Sports Data, are subject to change and are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so, if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

The odds for the win

Oscar Piastri added a fifth victory of the season to his tally in Barcelona, and the Australian is again the favourite to triumph at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, having continued to lead the championship since Round 5 in Saudi Arabia.

Lando Norris only sits 10 points behind his team mate and is also close by in the odds of winning this weekend, while Max Verstappen is deemed as having a slightly more distant chance behind the McLaren duo, despite having taken three wins in Montreal over the past three years.
